The Geese

​We’ve kept geese off and on for a while now and the meat is a favourite of ours at Christmas time. Fairly easy to care for and wonderfully self-sufficient grazers, these little lawnmowers also provide eggs highly prized by bakers.

​If you are wondering why they look a little bit different, we keep both Toulouse and Embden geese and occasionally a cross of the two.
